Benefits for companies
Companies participating in the CDO-Session are provided with free admission to the Conference during the CDO-session (including up to 4 participants), a representative place (2 x 3 m) for your company's display at the Company Market, free beverages during the Company Market and attraction of a large number of Dutch and Belgian PhD-students. In addition, your company will be mentioned in the Book of Abstracts and on the NCCC website with a link to your company's recruitment website.
Previous experience indicated that the PhD-students have a broad variety of questions that are best raised and answered in small groups or in individual talks. Typical questions comprise subjects like:
- job opportunities
- recruitment procedure
- career opportunities
- selection criteria
- typical requirements for new recruits
- starting salary
- (secondary) conditions of employment
- possibility to work abroad
- working part-time
- possibilities for partner and perspectives for non-EC PhD-students
The Company Market aims to provide an ambiance to discuss these matters in an informal manner.
